If you’re part of a writers’ chapter, college department or any other group that you think would benefit from a Scrivener demo tailored to your collective needs, our webinars are also available to book for groups of 15+ people. If you can't make it to an event you'd like to see, each will be available in our webinar library through November. To ensure we can help everyone during the Q&A, places are limited - so if something catches your eye, register now! Though the first set are focused on NaNoWriMo, booking is open to all writers from all countries whether they are a NaNoWriMo participant or not - and no question is too big or too small.įollow the links in our blog post to register. Make sure you’ve downloaded the latest updates - 3.2.3 on macOS or 3.1 on Windows - and grab the special NaNoWriMo template from The template project unlocks a new “Update NaNoWriMo Word Count” feature in the “Project” menu.”

If you’re taking part, you can now update your official NaNoWriMo word count from right inside Scrivener. To help them focus on their writing, we’ve made it easy to keep track of their progress. National Novel Writing Month is fast approaching, where writers all over the world furiously try to write a 50,000 word novel in November. Her novel Great Circle was written using Scrivener and is a complex epic, weaving together the lives of a daredevil female aviator and the spirited Hollywood actress challenged to play her on screen in the comeback role of a lifetime. We’re also excited to announce that our next episode, coming on November 3rd, will feature Booker Prize 2021 shortlisted author Maggie Shipstead. Her debut novel was written during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and won Amazon UK's Best Book of 2011 award find out about her latest novel You, Me & The Sea in our podcast archive, where you can catch up on any episodes you've missed any time. Our most recent guest is former police intelligence analyst and thriller writer Elizabeth Haynes. Since our podcast launched in May, we've welcomed guests that span a number of genres, from sci-fi to crime, from romance to musical biography. To that end, we have several announcements including an interview with a Booker Prize nominee, a handy new tool for NaNoWriMo and the launch of a Scrivener and Scapple outreach programme.
